For Indian tourists coming via rail or road, you can take a train up to Mathura and as soon as you step outside the Railway Station, on-board any shared auto or hire a small auto to Vrindavan.
It is just a 20-minute drive (around 20 KM) from the railway station to Vrindavan.
The small auto will charge 150-200 rupees and drop you at any place you desire. The shared auto will charge 30 rupees and will drop you at Banke Bihari More, or you can choose to get down at Attala Chungi.
By Road: Drive your car or hire a cab via the Yamuna Expressway from Delhi or Agra for a smooth journey.
Several state-run and private buses connect Vrindavan with Delhi, Agra, and Mathura.
By Train: Nearest railway station: Mathura Junction (15 km away). Regular trains from major cities like Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur connect to Mathura. From Mathura, hire a cab or take an auto to Vrindavan.
By Air: The nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, about 150 km away. Agra Airport is closer (75 km) but has limited connectivity. From the airport, hire a cab or board a bus.
